The past year for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet has been defined by strong and steady progress. In the months following its debut at the 2017 Paris Air Show, the MRJ has undergone a series of key tests including natural icing, high altitude, hot weather and more.

Results from this testing slate and the 24-7 development led by the global MRJ team has placed the MRJ90 firmly on track for mid-2020 delivery. The aircraft will officially start type certification testing this summer, while the team continues to mature its production and customer support functions.

This progress has also prompted Mitsubishi Aircraft to begin development on the MRJ70, an all-new regional aircraft that will operate within the scope restrictions of the U.S. aviation market.

The MRJ family of aircraft offers best-in-class economics that promises to bring much-needed choice to the regional market.

As the MRJ continues its path toward commercial service, follow its progress and development while the aircraft reaches key milestones throughout the year, including the its first flight display at the 2018 Farnborough International Airshow.
