On May 22, Aviation Week Senior Editor Guy Norris reported on the recent success of the MRJ90 program and the production approval of the MRJ70 in his story, “MRJ70 Gets Green Light as MRJ90 Testing Tracks to Revised Plan.”

Norris spoke with MRJ Program Director Alex Bellamy, who noted the continued progress of the MRJ90 as it nears 2,000 flight-test hours, as well as the potential of the MRJ70, the smaller sibling of the MRJ90.

The MRJ family was born from a clean sheet design and is designed to serve the increasing demand for regional air travel by delivering industry-leading performance, world-class engineering infused with Japanese manufacturing quality and the most comfortable cabin of any single-aisle plane.
