The MRJ team has been hard at work in 2018. Following a slate of important tests in 2017 and recent high altitude testing in Flagstaff, Arizona, the program has passed the midpoint in its flight test campaign—accumulating more than 1,700 total flight hours.
Rich Mueller, Director of Facilities and Operations at the Port of Moses Lake, home to the Moses Lake Flight Test Center that serves as the MRJ’s testing hub, has seen the progress of the MRJ firsthand, watching the constant departures and landings of the aircraft throughout its test schedule.
"We at the airport are really impressed at the dedication of the MRJ team," he says. "We see them here every day and every night making sure this project will be a success."
